We make your child happy day after day
At Wonder Years Childcare Center, we provide year-round child education and developmental training on a five day a week schedule. The environment is safe, healthy and supportive for children ages two to five, or until they are ready for kindergarten.
Our operating hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday with the exception of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, Labor Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
We provide a healthy and nutritious breakfast, hot lunch and two snacks to help children develop the proper eating habits. Parents can find a copy of the monthly menu on the parent information board, and copies of the menu are available upon request. Our meals are prepared fresh daily, by our kitchen staff. The cost of the meals is included in monthly tuition payments, making it easy for parents to pay for their child’s education and meals all at once. Parents with children that are on special diets, or that have food allergies, need to let us know at the time of enrollment.
We accept children that are not yet potty trained, while working with parents to help their children become trained. The process is very supportive and helpful for children, allowing them to become more independent and responsible. Given the busy nature of most parents’ lives, help with a child’s potty training can be a real asset. For children that are still in diapers, their parents are charged $25 and are responsible for providing their child’s diapers and wipes.
Full-time programs are available five days a week from the hours of 7:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The program is designed to support parents and their children in a comprehensive way, making the learning process easier for kids and childcare as convenient as possible for parents. The five day week program comes with a morning snack, breakfast, afternoon hot lunch and afternoon snack. Additional information on program options is available via school administrators, along with resources describing program features.
We currently offer a music and movement class free of charge to our families and their children. Optional services enhance children’s development, making them more well-rounded and adept at transitioning to the next stage of their educational career. We are constantly looking at ways to improve and add to our optional services, making our curriculum as effective and engaging as possible.
Our special training programs focus on developing children so that they can excel in preschool and beyond. These programs include specific learning and interactive activities, which help children acquire the critical thinking skills needed to become successful students.
I have had the most amazing experience at Wonder Years Preschool. When I decided to put my 3-year-old in preschool, I went to many different preshcools but none came close to Wonder Years. My son had a difficult time adjusting at first and the staff was very patient and loving with him. All the teachers know my son and when we walk in, we are always greeted with warm smiles. The teachers all love what they do and it shows in their faces. All the staff are always carefully watching the children to make sure they are safe and having fun. The entire staff at Wonder Years are a very special group of people. As and extremely overprotective parent, I had no doubts or worries when I left my son in their care. I am extremely greatful for the way they treated my son and all the wonderful lessons they thought him.
I’ll never forget the first time I walked in to Wonder Years with my 2½ year old baby. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I have to admit I was amazed. I was greeted by Mrs. Lusine and her warm smile and right away we felt at home. From that day forward I have had no doubt that I was leaving my baby in the best hands, and for that I will be forever grateful. With Mrs. Aida we watched our little toddler pull away from her pacifier, come out of diapers, learn letters, numbers, and colors. With Mrs. Anna we watched our baby turn into a little girl with such development that surprises us everyday. I want to thank each and everyone of you for all the support I have received. As a mother it is very difficult to leave a child for 9-10 hours a day, but you all made me feel so comfortable and safe to do so. I am grateful for you all and wish the entire staff of Wonder Years eternal health and happiness. There is no harder job in this world then the job caring for a child. Thank you all for having a role in my daughters development!
Thank you to all the teachers and staff of Wonder Years Child Care for your devotion and hard work. Teachers live forever in the hearts and memories of their students. All teachers and staff care for our little ones each day, cuddle, sing, read and keep them safe. You see them grow, you help them learn, you nurture them and listen with concern. They come to you for comfort and you kiss away their tears. They proudly show their work to you and you give the loudest cheers! You keep them safe each day as we parents are away.
